This is a 24 x 36 x 1.5 inch piece on a gallery profile canvas. I wanted to get back to some of the roots of how I painted when I started, 3+ years ago. I simply messed around with colors, layering, shapes and skims while letting the piece guide the next move. As the title suggests, I did spend a solid amount of time confused as to what to do next, but I was comfortable in that confusion. Update - This painting was selected for exhibit as part of the 2024 Amateur Exhibition at the McLean County Arts Center.
