This is a 24 x 24 x 1.5 inch piece on a gallery profile canvas. I once did an original version of “Screaming Silence” but the more it sat and the more I looked at it, I decided doing a paint over was the right thing to do. It didn’t speak the message I was trying to convey because my feeling was I initially made it too complicated visually. On this new version, I scaled back on detail and kept it simple. To me, in doing so, the image is more impactful. The general message is that many suffer in silence out of fear of seeming weak or a burden on others. I encourage you to NOT scream silently. Find an outlet.
